I have been trying to describe what I want on general dating products for a decade, and the closest their vocabulary gets is a word about tidiness. What I actually want is to be given a standard by somebody whose judgement I respect and told plainly whether I met it. Nothing in a mainstream profile carries that, so for ten years I said nothing at all and went on perfectly pleasant ordinary dates.
Fifty two, Manhattan, submissive. My practical experience is two arrangements in twelve years, one of them four years long, both domestic and structured, neither of them sexual.
The specialist platforms have the vocabulary and a different problem: they sort people by activity, and service is not an activity, it is a shape. Written boards are the only place I have found where I can put it in a paragraph and let people recognise it or not.
What I want is an ongoing service arrangement with a fixed rhythm, clear terms and a review every few months. I am organised, discreet and extremely reliable.
Not looking for anybody who assumes this is a euphemism for something else. Not looking to be corrected about what I supposedly really want. And not looking for somebody who wants a housekeeper, because the difference is the entire point, and if it needs explaining then we are not going to get there.
