About this site

What Kink App Dating is, and who writes it

Kink App Dating does one job: it helps adults pick the right kink-friendly dating app before they spend a month on the wrong one. We publish ranked shortlists by situation, head-to-head matchups when the choice is close, plain choosing guides, and a short finder quiz. Everything is written for adults (18+) and nothing here is explicit. We describe how apps and communities work, not what happens after the date goes well.

The lane is deliberately narrow. We rank and compare; we don't publish deep single-app reviews, in-app usage walkthroughs, or general dating advice. When a topic sits outside choosing, we leave it to people who cover it properly.

How we rank

Three tests, in a fixed order: model fit first, pond size second, free-tier honesty third. We describe app models as they are publicly documented and label editorial judgement as judgement. We don't invent user counts, run fake test accounts, or dress opinion up as measurement. When we get something wrong, we correct the page and update its date.

Who writes here

Our writers work under scene names, which is normal in this community and says nothing about how real their experience is. They write from years of app dating, comparing models, and talking friends through first downloads. Nobody claims a licence, a degree, or a clinical title, and nothing on this site is medical, legal, or psychological advice.

Independence

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by any app we rank, and we don't run affiliate links to them. Trademarks such as Feeld, KNKI, #open, and Recon belong to their respective owners; we name them only to describe them.

Kink App Dating is published by Compass Verte Media Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, with offices at Makarios III Avenue 58, Office 301, Larnaca 6017, Cyprus. Editorial contact: [email protected].

The people behind the bylines

Three writers, three angles on the same decision.

App comparison editor

Juno Reyes

Juno compares dating apps by their bones: who they serve, how matching works, what the free tier really gives you. Years of hopping between kink-adjacent apps taught them that picking the right pond beats swimming harder in the wrong one.

Serial early adopter; keeps a graveyard list of shut-down kink apps.

Choosing-guides writer

Colm Brady

Colm writes for the person standing in the app store with no idea which download to trust. He cares about situations: couples, beginners, small towns, tight budgets. The right answer changes with each one, and he likes making that concrete.

Talked dozens of friends through their first kink-app pick; keeps the notes.

Couples and ENM columnist

Sasha Marin

Sasha covers the couples side of app dating: joint profiles, unicorn-hunting etiquette, and which app models actually handle two-person accounts without breaking. She dates as half of an open pair and writes from the scar tissue.

Years of app dating as an open couple, including every awkward setting screen.
