You can tell within a message or two which sort of place somebody came from. People off the fast products want to know what happens and when. People off the slow ones want to know what I think and why, and have already decided that a month of conversation is a normal amount. Neither is the better person. They have been trained differently, and the training belongs to the platform rather than to them.
Fifty, east, dominant, twenty four years in. I have had good arrangements with people from both, so this is an observation and not a rule I apply.
What has never worked is somebody arriving at a pace they cannot slow down. I need several weeks of talking before anything happens, not as a test of anyone's sincerity but because I am building something with a person and I would like to know who they are on a boring Wednesday first.
So: an ongoing structured arrangement with a submissive who wants years rather than months. Standing rules, weekly contact, an explicit review, and an agreement that either of us can end it in a sentence.
Not looking for anybody who reads several weeks of talking as an obstacle course. Not looking for a list of what you have done and with whom. And not looking for somebody who is only here because their last platform went quiet, unless they can tell me what they learned while it did.
